The view
Ocean and city lights from the great room, the kitchen, and the primary suite. The main floor sits 15'+ above the street, so the view clears the rooftops opposite.
The features that make the house what it is, then the specifications behind them.

Open the kitchen and dining area to the deck and the ocean air. Two eleven-foot bifold door systems at the casual dining area and a nine-foot bifold and French doors at the great room and a ten-foot French door with sidelites at the primary suite.

Ten-foot cove ceilings in the great room, the kitchen and casual dining area, and the primary suite give the principal rooms their volume.

Quartersawn white oak cabinetry in a Biscotti finish, Taj Mahal quartzite carried from the counter to the ceiling behind the range, a walk-through pantry, glass display cabinets at each end of the run, and a Samsung appliance package with a 51-bottle dual-zone wine cooler.

Wide-plank wire-brushed white oak flooring in a Wheat finish runs through the principal rooms and bedrooms: 7½-inch planks with a 3 mm wear layer on a Baltic birch core. The cabinetry is quartersawn white oak in a Biscotti finish. Both are shown here from the actual samples, photographed in daylight.

Above the garage, finished in TimberTech Vintage Collection decking in Weathered Teak with a Viewrail quarter-inch rod railing over a waterproofed assembly.
